Relevate to host second Manhattan Amazing Race to empower youth
Spend a Saturday morning empowering a youth in your life.
Relevate, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing public access to relationship science, is hosting its annual fundraiser, The Manhattan Amazing Race, on Saturday, Sept. 22.
Teams of one youth, ages 8-17 years, and one adult, 18 or older, will solve riddles and complete fun challenges all around town that strengthen teamwork, people skills, and problem-solving prowess for a chance to win awesome prizes worth more than $500.
The scavenger hunt will take each team about three hours to complete. Breakfast from Panera Bread and lunch from Goodcents Deli will be provided, and all you will need is a vehicle to drive around town and your phone to document the fun. This is a moderate physical activity event. The entry fee is $40 per team, and only 20 teams can participate. Visit Relevate's Facebook page and sign up to help us empower youth.
The Relevate team consists of K-State marriage and family therapists, computer engineers, marketing specialists, relationship scholars and educators, and young adults who are passionate about improving the health of individuals and their relationships.
