Family Recognition Celebration honors commitment to diversity and inclusion

The Division of Student Life — Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs, or DMSA, is sponsoring its first Family Recognition Celebration from 2-2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27. The celebration will be hosted by New Student Services at the Berney Family Welcome Center.
Family Recognition Celebrations will take place each month in the fall and spring to honor those who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and to valuing every student as a member of the K-State Family.
The event will include remarks from Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs and New Student Services, followed by DMSA family recognitions by Associate Vice President for Student Life Adrian Rodriguez, and instructions on future nominations. Refreshments will be available.
