Country Stampede President/Founder Wayne Rouse and General Manager Adrienne Hayes to speak on campus today

Wayne Rouse, president and founder of Country Stampede, and Adrienne Hayes, general manager, will be the first entertainment marketing speaker for the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Speaker Series. Country Stampede is the largest annual music festival in Kansas. Rouse and Hayes will discuss the event's growth, the impact to the local economy and the exposure with the music industry.
The lecture, which is open to the public and free to attend, will begin at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, in the K-State College of Business Building Lecture Hall.
The speaker series, organized by marketing faculty members Doug Walker and Janis Crow, supports the College of Business's newest undergraduate certificate program, the business of sports and entertainment certificate.
