Division of Facilities to host retirement celebration for Mark Taussig

Submitted by Diana Hutchison

Mark Taussig, landscape architect in the Division of Facilities, is retiring effective Oct. 31. All are invited to a celebration in his honor from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the Tallgrass Ballroom, Room 263 at Kramer Dining Center.

Taussig has been a valued colleague at the university since 1985 and has served as landscape architect and project manager for facilities campus planning. He has served on numerous campus committees, has been instrumental in improvements at The Gardens at Kansas State University and has successfully managed a multitude of capital improvement projects on campus. His most recent projects include the new Purebred Beef Unit and Wefald Hall.

Please help the Division of Facilities celebrate his dedicated service and wish him well in his upcoming retirement.
