Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs invites nominations for Family Recognition Pinning Celebration
Submitted by Michele Benevento
The Department of Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs invites the K-State community to nominate friends and colleagues on campus for the DMSA Family Recognition Pinning Celebration.
The next DMSA Family Recognition Pinning Celebration will take place 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the Multicultural Student Lounge in the Kramer Dining Center. Light refreshments will be provided.
The department is recognizing students, faculty and staff who embrace our ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusivity and thanking individuals for their efforts to make our multicultural students feel valued as a part of the K-State Family. This is a new ceremony that will take place once each month to recognize all nominees for their positive contributions to the K-State community.
Nominations can be submitted on the Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs website.
Provide us with the name and email address of the person you are nominating and write approximately 50 words about why they deserve a DMSA Family pin. All nominations are anonymous. This not a competition or an award; we are simply thanking the K-State community for all that you do to promote diversity and inclusion. All nominees will receive a DMSA Family pin and thank-you note.
All nominees will receive an email invitation informing them of the ceremony, but all are welcome to attend.
