Important update: Exam accommodations through Student Access Center
Submitted by Jason Maseberg-Tomlinson
As finals approach, it is vital that all faculty who have students taking exams in the Student Access Center's Test Center enter all information for current exams and finals at the Student Access Center KSIS page. Having information in a timely manner for all exams — a week in advance is ideal — helps the center coordinate staffing, arrange space for students to take exams, and set up necessary accommodations, such as screen readers, digital files, large print and scribes.
If you are teaching a course and a student has given you a letter of accommodation with testing accommodations, please read it carefully and use the KSIS page to enter exam details. If you have any questions on using the KSIS page, contact the Student Access Center at 785-532-6441. We are here to help you. Entering exam details early helps the office plan ahead and use resources much more efficiently.
