'It's all about water' Global Food Systems meeting
The Global Food Systems Initiative coordinates a monthly "It's all about water" meeting for researchers. Various aspects of water availability, use and sustainable management are studied in many disciplines across campus, and the gathering provides an opportunity for researchers to share their work.
Faculty presentations begin at noon on the third Thursday of each month in 137 Waters Hall. Bring a brown bag lunch. All interested faculty are invited to join for this month's gathering on Nov. 15. The presenter will be Ramesh Dhungel, agronomy, discussing "Next Generation Landscape Evapotranspiration Tools: Are They Feasible?"
Future meetings are scheduled for Jan. 17, Feb. 21, March 21 and April 18. The group will not meet in December.
