Campus deadline approaching for Marshall, Mitchell and Rhodes scholarships
The campus application for the Marshall, Mitchell and/or Rhodes scholarships is due March 22. The campus application allows strong candidates to be considered for endorsement by Kansas State University, which is required to apply at the national level.
The Marshall Scholarship fully funds graduate study at almost any school in the United Kingdom. The Mitchell Scholarship funds one year of graduate study in Ireland. The Rhodes Scholarship funds study exclusively at Oxford University.
All three awards seek students with a strong academic record — 3.7 GPA minimum — and an outstanding complementary resume who plan graduate study in fall 2020. Each award has additional eligibility restrictions that should be reviewed carefully. For more information regarding each individual scholarship, visit the Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarship's Graduate Fellowships webpage.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to share this information with potential applicants and encourage them to visit with Jim Hohenbary in 215 Fairchild Hall. If you wish to share the names of particular students, have questions, or want to obtain a copy of the campus application contact Hohenbary at jimlth@k-state.edu.
