DMSA Family recognition event this week
The Department of Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs invites everyone in the K-State community to nominate your friends and colleagues on campus for the DMSA Family Recognition Pinning Celebration. The next DMSA Family Recognition Pinning Celebration will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, in the Ekdahl Room at Regnier Hall.
The department is recognizing students, faculty and staff who embrace our ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusivity and thanking individuals for their efforts to make our multicultural students feel valued as a part of the K-State Family. This is a new ceremony that the department will host once each month to recognize all nominees for their positive contributions to the K-State community.
To nominate, visit the DMSA website. Provide the name and email address of the person you are nominating, and write about 50 words about why they deserve a DMSA Family pin. All nominations are anonymous. This not a competition or an award, we are simply thanking the K-State community for all that you do to promote diversity and inclusion. All nominees will receive a DMSA Family pin and thank-you note.
All nominees will receive an email invitation informing them of the ceremony, but all on campus are invited to attend.
