Campus Master Plan Update meetings postponed to Nov. 5-7
Consultants from Ayers Saint Gross will be on campus Nov. 5-7. These final visit meetings were originally scheduled for Oct. 2–4 and were delayed to allow more time to develop informational graphics and supporting materials that fully convey the recommendations of the Manhattan Campus Master Plan Update 2012.
While on campus, Ayers Saint Gross will meet with Facilities Planning and the Campus Master Plan Update Task Force. The firm also will present information about the Campus Master Plan at four open campus meetings:
- Monday, Nov. 5, 6-7 p.m., K and S Ballroom, K-State Student Union
- Tuesday, Nov. 6, 12:30-1:30 p.m., Sunflower Room, Union
- Tuesday, Nov. 6, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Sunflower Room, Union
- Wednesday, Nov. 7, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Purple Pride Conference Room, on the third floor of the K-State Alumni Center
The same content will be presented at all four times listed above; the presentation is offered more than once to provide as many people as possible the opportunity to participate. For those who cannot attend in person, the 6-7 p.m. forum on Nov. 5 will be video-streamed and available on K-State HDTV.
Campus input has been important to the development of the plan and the open campus meetings offer the campus community an opportunity to see the outcomes of the planning process. Each meeting will include a presentation about the proposed Campus Master Plan Update, followed by time for discussion and questions. Additionally, information about the plan will be available on the Campus Master Plan Update website and campus constituents will be able to comment on aspects of the plan in that context.
