April Manhattan Science Cafe

Submitted by Peying Fong

This month's Manhattan Science Cafe will be from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Radina's Coffeehouse and Roastery, 616 N. Manhattan Ave.

Natalia Rojkovskaia, from the mathematics department at K-State, will consider the question "What is a difference between a journalist and a mathematician?" Learn how common practices of professional mathematicians can enable navigation of oceans of information, while facing fake facts, speculations, common knowledge and low-quality popular science.

Science Cafe is sponsored by Kansas Citizens for Science and the K-State Chapter Sigma Xi.
