K-State Athletics to participate in NCAA Sexual Assault/Violence Prevention Social Media Campaign

Submitted by Arin Dunn

K-State Athletics is joining the NCAA's Student-Athlete Enhancement Committee and the Division I, II and III Student-Athlete Advisory Committees to participate in the Days of Action: Sexual Assault/Violence Prevention Social Media Campaign on April 17 and 18.

The two-day campaign aims to use social media to provide information and awareness to issues surrounding sexual assault/violence on college campuses. Day one of the campaign focused on educating by providing information and statistics related to sexual assault/violence and prevention. Day two will look to bring awareness to efforts and resources offered by campus and athletics to help prevent and assist with issues of sexual violence.

Be on the lookout for social media posts from K-State Athletics over the two days, and we encourage you to help join the fight against sexual assault/violence by sharing via social media.
