Human nutrition students and faculty published in microbial ecology journal

Mark Haub, associate professor and interim head of the department of human nutrition; five K-State students in human nutrition; and colleagues co-authored a paper investigating the effects of grain on gut and metabolic health in a human clinical trial. The study was published in the journal for the International Society for Microbial Ecology.

K-State student co-authors included Jennifer A. Case, May 2010 doctoral graduate in human nutrition;  Kelcie L. Hubach, May 2010 bachelor's graduate in nutritional sciences; James M. Lattimer, May 2012 doctoral graduate in human nutrition; Julie A. Louk, December 2011 master's graduate in public health; and Casey G. Weber, doctoral student and research assistant in human nutrition.
