Need an elective? Take a three-credit, eight-week course in family studies and human services this fall
Sign up for FSHS 300, Grandparenting in Families: Then and Now, an eight-week hybrid course taught this fall from 5:30-7:55 p.m Mondays Oct. 17 to Dec. 13. The course number is 17808.
This three credits hour course takes an interdisciplinary approach to introduce unique issues involved with grandparenting in a family context. It is a fantastic course for students across all majors. Particular emphasis will be given to examining the variability of grandparenting across cultures, time and the lifespan. Grandparenting will be discussed as it pertains to theory, research, practice and policy.
