Computing and information science students win first at Code Rush 2012
A team of Kansas State University computing and information science students from the College of Engineering brought home the $10,000 first prize on Sept. 29 at Code Rush 2012, the Kansas City area’s only professional code competition event.
Hosted by Perceptive Software, a worldwide leader in enterprise software solutions, the competition pitted teammates Michael Marlen, Aaron Chavez and Clint Caywood against their choice of 10 challenging problem descriptions. Using correct algorithms allowed teams to solve the code problems and earn points toward prizes.
