Central States Marching Festival this Saturday
The K-State Marching Band will host its Central States Marching Festival from 11:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
The event is one of the biggest and best of its kind in the Midwest and is attracting 37 high school bands from around Kansas and beyond. High school bands will showcase their halftime shows for a panel of nationally respected marching adjudicators. Bands will receive constructive comments from our judges and a festival rating awarded at the conclusion of the event. The night ends with a special performance by the Kansas State University Pride of Wildcat Land.
General Admission is $5 and free for students with a K-State ID. Come out and support more than 4,000 high school students performing on our campus. For questions and more information, please contact the K-State band office at 785-532-3816.
