Emergency light testing at Nichols, Thompson halls and Engineering Complex

Submitted by James Seymour and Christopher Coyle

Annual emergency light testing will take place from 7-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, in Durland and Rathbone halls. Testing also will take place from 4-7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at Nichols and Thompson halls.

During the test, circuit breakers for circuits that provide power to emergency lighting fixtures will turned off. The entire building will not lose power, only specific circuits will be affected. Any electrical devices on these circuits will lose power during the test.

Contact James Seymour at 785-313-6108 or camel@k-state.edu with any questions.
