Student directs stage reading of 'Gloria' by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins Friday, Sept. 20
Kansas State University Theatre presents a stage reading of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' "Gloria" directed by Ian Boyd-Duncan, senior in theatre, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in the Purple Masque Theatre in West Stadium. This stage reading marks the inaugural event of the 2019-2020 K-State Theatre and Dance production season. The production is also Boyd-Duncan's directorial debut.
This powerful play follows an ambitious group of editorial assistants at a notorious Manhattan magazine. When an ordinary workday becomes anything but, the stakes for who will get to tell their own story will elevate to disastrous heights.
All seats are $5, and ticket information can be found at ksu.universitytickets.com. Please call the theatre marketing and box office at 785-236-8638 with questions or needs.
