Research development webinar: 'Understanding, Mapping and Leveraging Assets'
The Research Administrator's Council is sponsoring a webinar, "Research Development for Research Administrators: Understanding, Mapping and Leveraging Assets," from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in 1139 Engineering Hall.
With research funding becoming increasingly competitive, in conjunction with the trend toward convergence research to solve complex problems, developing competitive multidisciplinary research teams and leveraging assets is key to winning funding for the K-State research enterprise.
This webinar will help research administrators understand the basics of research development and how to integrate research development strategies with sponsored programs' activities. Participants will receive planning tools designed to help identify and leverage the strengths of their sponsored programs office, as well as to create and implement research development activities in their institutions.
While this webinar is geared toward research administrators, this session may also be helpful to research faculty as well.
