Fulbright scholar Davids speaks to supporting indigenous professionals
Adam Davids, Fulbright professional scholar in nonprofit leadership, director of learning at CareerTrackers and proud Aboriginal Australian, will deliver an Oz to Oz presentation on supporting the next generational indigenous professionals at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in 118 Bluemont Hall. His address is free and open to the public.
Davids is using his Fulbright scholarship to analyze the pathway to generate sustainable jobs for underrepresented minorities by studying leading nongovernmental organizations and historic institutions in the U.S. As his research area is closing the racial wealth gap, Davids plans to build a global alliance between INROADS, CareerTrackers and other NGOs across the U.S. to create a professional jobs consortium for underrepresented minorities. The goal is to develop ongoing collaboration with a vision to elevate the social and economic impact of organizations and their beneficiaries.
