Student feedback about peer mentorship needed

Submitted by Rebeca Paz

The Higher Learning Commission quality initiative team has developed a peer mentoring workgroup who is looking to hear from students about their experiences with peer mentoring at K-State.

Faculty or staff who know of any students who serve in a peer mentor role such a class leader, tutor, resident assistant, learning assistant, student advocate, etc., who have a peer mentor or any other students who wish to provide feedback regarding peer mentorship, please send them an invitation to sign up for a focus group.

Several focus groups will be conducted to hear students' thoughts about peer mentorship. To RSVP to attend a focus group, complete this brief survey.

Focus groups will take place in 111 Hale Library at the following times and dates:

Focus groups for peer mentors:

  • 12:30-1:30 p.m. Nov. 18.
  • 3-4 p.m. Nov. 19.
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
