LULAC brings U.S. Census Bureau representative Urquilla-Díaz

Carlos Urquilla-Díaz, a 1996 K-State alumnus and partnership specialist for the U.S. Census Bureau, will speak at the K-State League of United Latin American Citizens, or LULAC, meeting from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the K-State Student Union Big XII Room. 

Urquilla-Díaz, who has a Juris Doctor, will discuss strategies to prepare Kansas communities for a successful count in the 2020 census. Urquilla-Díaz's responsibilities include educating, encouraging and increasing the census response among the Latino/a/x communities in Kansas.
