Geography colloquium Nov. 15 examines groundwater's role in water and ecosystem sustainability
Sam Zipper, assistant scientist in the groundwater hydrology section of the Kansas Geological Survey, Lawrence, will present "Corn, Cannabis, and … Kansas? Groundwater's Role in Landscape-Scale Water and Ecosystem Sustainability" at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in 1019 Seaton Hall.
Zipper's talk is part of the Department of Geography and Geospatial Science's visiting scholar series and is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the Department of Geography and Geospatial Sciences.
