Community Engagement Symposium 'Student Success and the Public Good' call for presentations deadline Jan. 31
Submitted by Donna Schenck-Hamlin
The 2020 Community Engagement Symposium "Student Success and the Public Good" call for presentations submission deadline is Jan. 31.
Check your new calendar for 2020, and make sure you mark in March 23-24 to attend the Community Engagement Symposium at K-State. This year's symposium features a topic on the minds of students, families, businesses and communities as well as university faculty and staff. We see a resurgence of youth engagement with so many issues at this time, that reinforcing that agency during their campus careers is of paramount importance.
We want to hear from you, how college and university experiences are offering a foundation for student success in their public lives. Students are particularly encouraged to offer their experiences and aspirations in presentations, a PechaKucha, or in the poster session. This year features a lively combination of formats and presenters. Stay tuned!
Please visit the call for proposals form, and register for the 2020 Community Engagement Symposium. For questions, please contact Donna Schenck-Hamlin, program manager, Center for Engagement and Community Development, at donnash@k-state.edu or 785-532-7252.
