Mindful Communication for Supervisors offered March 27

Mindful Communication for Supervisor will be offered from 8-10:30 a.m. Friday, March 27, in the K-State Alumni Center Tadtman Boardroom.
This session will provide participants insight into their own communication styles and anxieties. Participation will help supervisors understand how verbal and nonverbal communication can help to create more mindful, effective messages to employees.
Participants will gain the following as the result of this session:
- Recognize the importance of effective communication including nonverbal communication.
- Identify your current communication style and its impact on others.
- Apply techniques and strategies to become more skilled in interpersonal communication.
You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session. This session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program, therefore, seating is limited.
