2012 end-of-year gift processing

With the end of year is fast approaching, many faculty and staff  may have questions about end-or-year deadline for KSU Foundation gift processing. Here are some tips about how to make sure your gift gets counted for 2012 tax purposes:

• Cash and checks: Your gift must be postmarked on or before Monday, Dec. 31. Get our mailing address.

• Credit cards: Using online giving, credit cards must be processed before midnight, Dec. 31. Give online.

• Gifts of personal property: Faculty and staff who have questions about making gifts in kind of personal property should contact Brenda Guenther, KSU Foundation controller, at brendag@found.ksu.edu or 800-432-1578 as soon as possible.

• Securities: Stocks or mutual funds must be transferred to the KSU Foundation on or before Dec. 31. Learn more.
