Thurston leads panel session, presents at international education conference
Linda Thurston, associate dean for research and external funding for the College of Education, participated in the Hawaii International Conference on Education, Jan. 6-9, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She led a panel session, "Strategies for success for students with disabilities in postsecondary educational settings," that included Andrea Blair, K-State's director of disability support services, and Kelly Roberts with the center on disability studies at the University of Hawaii. Thurston also presented "Fundamentals of program evaluation in higher education settings."
