Mechanical and nuclear engineering hosts spring and summer 2020 graduating senior and awards celebration
The Alan Levin Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering department hosted its undergraduate graduating senior and awards celebration for spring and summer 2020 via Zoom.
Each semester the department recognizes its Outstanding Seniors, Most Outstanding Senior, and Leadership and Service awardees. Mechanical and nuclear engineering faculty nominate and vote on undergraduate graduating seniors who they deem outstanding for the Most Outstanding Senior Award, which is given to students who received the most votes. The Leadership and Service award is given by the department head to a student who demonstrated exceeding leadership and service to the department.
"This year, it was extremely difficult to narrow down our outstanding students," said Kevin Wanklyn, teaching associate professor of mechanical and nuclear engineering and undergraduate program director "We had a tremendous amount of nominations and this was the hardest selection process we have ever gone through."
Congratulations to all mechanical and nuclear engineering graduates, nominated outstanding students and the award winners.
