Submitted by Communications and Marketing
Julia Keen, associate professor of architectural engineering and construction science, conducted a workshop for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers at the society's headquarters in Atlanta, Aug. 15-17.
Keen developed the workshop, "Essentials of HVAC Design for High Performing Buildings," for those interested in broadening their understanding of HVAC&R design essentials. She led the course with Joel Primeau, an independent high-performance building consultant engineer from Canada. Both Primeau and Keen are licensed engineers and ASHRAE Certified High Performance Building Design Professionals.
