Soft opening for Wildcat Community Tutoring and Educational Enrichment Initiative
Submitted by Roger Schieferecke
The members of the Wildcat Community Tutoring and Educational Enrichment team announce that we will open for business on Monday, Oct. 20. Taking a page from the restaurant industry, we will start with a soft opening.
If you have children who need some academic support, please go to the Wildcat Community Tutoring and Educational Enrichment Initiative site and sign up for a tutor. We currently have 30 volunteers prepared to tutor everything from kindergarten to calculus. More tutors are being added daily and we are still accepting applications for tutors.
The soft opening will allow us to work out any kinks in our processes before opening our services to the public at large. We look forward to providing academic support to your children.
Please contact Roger Schieferecke at rwschief@k-state.edu with questions.
The Wildcat Community Tutoring and Educational Enrichment Initiative is a collaborative effort of the College of Education, College of Health and Human Sciences, and the Staley School of Leadership Studies to provide quality, free online tutoring and enrichment activities for Kansas K-12 learners and families.
