K-State music ensembles partner with Liquid Art Winery for Jazz Night on the Patios — Live!
As the fall nights get cooler, heat up with some spicy rhythms at a live performance from the K-State Latin Jazz Ensemble at Liquid Art Winery. The tasting room opens at 4 p.m. and the K-State Latin Jazz Ensemble will perform at 6:30 p.m.
This talented group of K-State students will perform popular Afro-Caribbean styles of music just as the group has done at concerts — virtually — all over the world. With a wind section, a rhythm section and a full percussion section, you won't be able to stop your feet from tapping.
The Latin Jazz Ensemble enjoyed performing at Liquid Art Winery in 2019 and while social distancing will make it look a little different this year, we promise it will sound just as hot and the wine will be just as delicious. More than half of your $10 entrance ticket is going directly to student scholarships in the K-State School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
Not ready to venture out for a live concert yet? No worries! You can order online and pick-up all of your Liquid Art favorites with their contactless curbside pickup. Then, enjoy a livestream of the concert from your patio at home. And since you're not paying the entrance fee, consider donating to the MTD scholarships online.
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance is part of the College of Arts and Sciences. The school annually gives more than $500,000 in undergraduate scholarships and graduate scholarships and assistantships. To learn more about the School of Music Theatre, and Dance at K-State, visit the website.
