K-State LGBT Resource Center to host AdventureOUT and free HIV testing
The LGBT Resource Center offers two upcoming events on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Monday, Nov. 16. On Saturday, AdventureOUT will provide a free program to all students, faculty and staff. On Monday the LGBT Resource Center and Positive Connections will provide free HIV testing at Holton Hall on campus.
AdventureOUT welcomes Ben Goldman, a first-year drama therapy master's student, as the host of AdventureOUT with storytelling. This series of sessions will focus on helping you learn the art of the story through exercises and games. Topics covered will include relaxation, growing creativity, visualizing your story, therapeutic storytelling versus performance storytelling, and presentational styles.

Positive Connections of Topeka will be conducting free HIV testing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16. Testing facilities will be provided to all students, faculty and staff in 207 Holton Hall. Testing is confidential and COVID-19 protocols will be followed according to university and state guidelines. Testing is available on a drop-in basis and individuals are asked to follow all COVID-19 guidelines upon arrival.
