Zero food waste panel led by Jagger Harvey at Atlantic Council's GeoTech Center
On Tuesday, Nov. 17, Jagger Harvey, director of the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for the Reduction of Post-Harvest Loss and research associate professor in the plant pathology department, will join AgriTechAction 2020, a three-day global forum hosted by the Atlantic Council's GeoTech Center.
Over a series of private roundtables, leaders in agriculture, technology and national security will present solutions aimed at feeding the planet.
The Nov. 17 panel Harvey has helped assemble and is moderating will be focused on "Achieving zero global food waste through better tech." Panelists include Barbara Stinson, president of the World Food Prize Foundation; Paloma Fernandez, CEO of the Kenyan Cereal Millers Association; Isaac Sesi, founder and CEO of Sesi Technologies, Ghana; and Amanda Brondy, director of international projects, Global Cold Chain Alliance.
