'Kansas Theatre Works' interviews alumni of 2016 Writers Room
Three alumni of the 2016 K-State Theatre Writers Room, Blake Cordell, Jonah Kirkhart and Cody O'Hare, discuss the development of "Ho Ho No" with current student Ceslie Parker-Waller for the "Kansas Theatre Works" podcast. The bonus episode is available now on all podcast platforms. It precedes the Dec. 10 release of "Ho Ho No," directed by associate professor Jerry Jay Cranford.
"Ho Ho No" is an irreverent look at the holiday season with raucous songs and monologues that will bring levity to this year's celebrations. Please be advised that "Ho Ho No" contains explicit language.
Previous episodes of the "Kansas Theatre Works" podcast include "The Gratitude Episode," directed by School of Music, Theatre, and Dance professor and associate director Jennifer Vellenga; "One Dead; One Dying," directed by Jerry Jay Cranford; and "Macbeth," directed by assistant professor David Mackay. Numerous episodes of bonus content feature interviews with the many alumni artists behind this season's audio productions.
As always, you may listen to "Kansas Theatre Works" for free at any time by visiting the website or searching podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.
