Debra Gilman to retire from K-State

After 40 years at Kansas State University, Debra Gilman will retire from the Office of Student Financial Assistance where she's been a financial aid advisor for much of her career.
Gilman began her employment in May 1980 in the Office of Student Financial Assistance and has served in a variety of roles throughout the years. The majority of her tenure in the office has been in the role of financial aid advisor, where she has consistently put students first to help them reach their educational goals. In 2009, she was recognized as employee of the year by the department at the University Support Staff Recognition Ceremony.
Gilman is known for her professionalism and positive attitude, her willingness to go above and beyond, and her exceptional customer service. With her depth of knowledge and years of experience, her presence will be missed by all.
