Reinstated students invited to participate in SPARK program
The Second Opportunity for Academic Refocus at K-State, or SPARK, program is for students who earn less than a 1.0 GPA during their first semester and are reinstated to K-State.
The SPARK program supports students in finding academic success, staying on track for graduation and developing the skills needed for college and career. The SPARK program includes enrollment in an Academic Refocus student success course with embedded academic coaching and co-curricular opportunities, intentional advising and a student-focused event on resilience.
To participate in SPARK, students must complete the following steps:
- Students must complete the SPARK application by Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. The application opens Dec. 18.
- Students are required to attend the SPARK Orientation.
- Students will be communicated with through SSC Navigate to their official K-State email about Orientation and Enrollment details.
More information about the SPARK program and requirements can be found on the website. We hope you consider sharing this program with your students.
