Mortar Board offers several scholarships that are available for freshman, sophomore and junior students each year, helps coordinate and speak at the new student convocation in the fall and recognizes outstanding faculty with annual awards.
In the Manhattan area, Mortar Board hosts Reading is Leading, an event designed to create a fun and active learning environment for young learners to become more involved in reading and writing. Mortar Board sponsors and partners with other student organizations to serve with many other service events that directly benefit the Manhattan community.
