New Faculty Institute

The New Faculty Institute invites new faculty to attend its upcoming event from 4-5 p.m. Monday, April 12, via Zoom.

Hear from a panel of K-State faculty who have gone through and understand the promotion and tenure process, both as candidates and evaluators. Learn about resources and best practices to support research, collaboration and service. This will be a great opportunity to hear advice and ask questions.

  • Chris Culbertson, associate dean for research in the College of Arts and Science and professor of chemistry.
  • Doris Wright Carroll, associate professor in special education, counseling and student affairs.
  • Beth Montelone, interim vice president for research/director of the Office of Research Development and professor of biology.
  • Brian Niehoff, associate provost for institutional effectiveness and professor of management.

Add this event to your calendar and RSVP by 1 p.m. Monday, April 12.

The New Faculty Institute is a program for new faculty in their first or second year at K-State hosted by the Teaching and Learning Center. The New Faculty Institute provides networking and professional development opportunities to assist new faculty in becoming successful educators and researchers at Kansas State University.
