Saucier selected as 2021 Friend of K-State Global Campus
Don Saucier, who serves as faculty associate director of the Teaching and Learning Center in addition to his appointment as professor of psychological sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences, has been selected as the 2021 Friend of K-State Global Campus.
The award is given to an individual or individuals who have significantly contributed to the advancement of K-State Global Campus programs or services.
"Don has been a champion for online teaching efforts throughout the pandemic," said Karen Pedersen, dean of Global Campus. "His collaboration with Global Campus and other campus partners to provide support to faculty has been tremendously beneficial to the institution and to students. It is a pleasure to recognize him with this award."
The award nomination noted Saucier's contributions to support faculty during the pivot to online course delivery during the pandemic. Among his efforts were contributions to the Keep Teaching website, development of several Teaching and Learning Center professional development events around online teaching and working with instructional designers to identify information and skills that K-State instructors need to know in order to be effective online educators.
