Master of Public Administration student receives KACM scholarship
The political science department and the Master of Public Administration program announce that Sabrina DeSantis, a first-year MPA student, has been awarded one of three scholarships conferred annually by the Kansas Association of City/County Management, or KACM.
The organization represents local government administrators whose mission is to support and promote professional management and high ethical standards for effective democracy in local city and county governments in Kansas.
This is the eighth year in a row that a K-State Master of Public Administration student has won one of these prestigious awards.
"We are proud that the hard work and academic achievements of our MPA students continue to be recognized by the Kansas Association of City/County Management," said Brianne Heidbreder, associate professor and director of the program.
