General meeting of faculty and unclassified professionals
Dear Colleagues,
We wish to inform you there will be a general meeting of the faculty and unclassified professionals at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, via YouTube Live. At this meeting, we will discuss proposed Faculty Senate constitution revisions and then we will have an open discussion for you to bring up issues of interest or concern.
To prepare and discuss for the vote on proposed revisions to University Handbook Appendix E: Faculty Senate Constitution, please review the proposed adjustments as shared on the Faculty Senate website and includes a tracked and clean version with proposed revisions incorporated.
An electronic vote via a Qualtrics survey will be distributed via email directly following the meeting.
The constitution revision discussion will be followed by an open discussion period. This will be an opportunity for faculty and staff to share their ideas, questions and concerns. This discussion can help inform the work of the Faculty Senate for this academic year.
Please visit the Faculty Senate webpage to view the stream. An eID and password will be required to view the stream. You will also be able to use the chat feature to ask questions, raise concerns and make statements.
You are also welcome to submit your questions or statements to facsen@k-state.edu.
We look forward to having you with us.
