College of Architecture, Planning & Design selects peer educators
Forty-five students in the College of Architecture, Planning & Design, or APDesign, have been selected as peer educators for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Peer educators are upper-level APDesign students who serve as mentors to first-year students in the college. Teams of four to five peer educators meet weekly with each first-year design studio to provide support to students throughout the fall semester.
"My peer educators were well equipped to help me navigate the APDesign program as they had been in my shoes at one time," said Jay Olson, fourth-year student in interior architecture and product design. "They helped me realize I was in the right place and made everything seem much less daunting."
