Panel discussion of mental health resources with Coach Bill Snyder
Anxiety, depression, stress, imposter syndrome and other mental health challenges are, unfortunately, common barriers to success during college and graduate school. K-State has resources to help you overcome these obstacles.
A panel of students, a Lafene doctor, a K-State counselor, and Coach Bill Snyder will discuss the challenges students face and where to turn for help from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, in Room 227 of the K-State Student Union. You can also attend via Zoom.
The Division of Biology and the K-State Chapter of the American Chemical Society will provide pizza after the event.
The discussion has been organized by representatives from the colleges of Arts and Sciences, Engineering and Business. It is also supported by the Office of Student Life, the Office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Engineering, the Office of Graduate Education, Lafene Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services, the Office of Retention, Diversity and Inclusion in the College of Engineering, along with others.
