Annual Bolivian Sweater Sale this week
Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc., a registered independent student organization, brings fair trade cooperative Chasqui-Manos Andinas for its annual Fair Trade Alpaca Wool Sale. The sale will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 11-15 outside the K-State Student Union on Bosco Student Plaza.
The group will sell hats, gloves, sweaters and other woven goods made from alpaca wool.
Purchases directly support workers in developing nations by providing fair wages, safe working conditions, health benefits and access to education.
Cash, cards, and checks will be accepted.
