Faculty over Fifty inaugural event April 11
Please join us at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in the Alumni Center Ballroom for this inaugural event for invested faculty: Faculty over Fifty.
Universities often sponsor events focused on new faculty, but it is rare to have something for those of us who have been around a while. By the way, did you know that two-thirds of the K-State faculty are 50 and over?
Bill Snyder will start us off sharing ideas for keeping your careers vibrant and productive.
Many of us have been “doing the heavy lifting” for years. We have prepared the way for 2025 to be a success. We have worked diligently to strengthen our departments and help our students learn. We have invested our careers at K-State. We love this place!
We will be looking for ideas on helping us move forward in our teaching, staying refreshed and renewed. Come add your voice to our message.
C. Clyde Jones will wrap up the afternoon with his views of remaining active and dynamic at age 90.
