Thursday Teaching Tip: Using K-State Libraries
The K-State Global Campus instructional designer brings you Thursday Teaching Tips through K-State Today. These tips will cover Canvas, best practices in teaching online or new topics as the community begins to discuss them.
Today's Thursday Teaching Tip reminds you to use the resources available through the K-State Libraries. We often think of the assistance and resources the library provides to our students, but are we utilizing the resources available to teaching faculty?
The library offers a Teaching and Learning with the Libraries resource guide specifically for faculty to connect you to services they provide. The Libraries also offer these specific resources:
- Library Instruction
- Add a Librarian to Your Canvas Course
- Using Permalinks
- Research Assistance
- Copyright and Fair Use
- Open Educational Resources, or OERs
Please contact gcid@k-state.edu with comments, to schedule a consultation or to share ideas for future tips. Thank you for your interest in improving the quality of teaching at K-State.
