Join a civic discourse forum tomorrow evening in Hale Library
On Nov. 9, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the K-State Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy, with assistance from K-State communication studies students, will host "COVID-19 and Vaccines: How should we keep our communities safe?" The event will be in the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies in 240 Hale Library.
As the United States slowly emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, many questions remain about what communities should do over the long run to keep people safe, get their local economies moving again and prepare for future outbreaks. The forum will explore various approaches for moving forward.
Sponsored by the Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy and the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies at K-State Libraries, this event is as part of a National Issues Forums initiative. The event will be facilitated by Tim Shaffer, director of the institute and associate professor in the department of communication studies.
