Tammie Campbell retirement announcement
Submitted by Shannon Castleberry
The Office of the Registrar announces the retirement of Tammie Campbell after 38 successful years in the office. Campbell's retirement date is Nov. 30.
Campbell began her career in the basement of Hale Library using keypunch cards to enroll students. As registration technology advanced, enrollment services moved to 210 Willard Hall for several years before landing in Anderson Hall. In 2014, Campbell was promoted to supervisor of enrollment services, and most recently, after a unit reorganization, she finishes her career as manager of academic technology.
Throughout Campbell's career, she has won numerous awards throughout her career serving students. She has provided in-depth support for KSIS and has also been a key player in advancing the usage of 25Live room scheduling software.
We are indebted to Campbell's vision and commitment for propelling us to our present position in classroom scheduling.
Although there will not be a retirement reception officially held, we invite employees to extend their good wishes to Tammie in her new endeavors via email, tammie@k-state.edu.
