Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nichols Hall
Submitted by Erinn Barcomb-Peterson
From its beginning in 1911 to the present, Nichols Hall has been home to music, fire, protests and
athletics. The hall has a rich and exciting history that is deeply connected to K-State students, and the department of communication studies, theater and dance wants to share the story of Nichols Hall on its 100th anniversary.
We will be celebrating from 3-4 p.m. Friday, April 29, in the Nichols Hall Atrium. People are invited to
have refreshments and view pictures and feature stories about the building from different generations of alumni. Attendees will also be invited to share with the crowd their own personal experiences and
knowledge about Nichols Hall's history, all led by Charlie Griffin, head of the department of communication studies, theater and dance.
