K-State faculty listed among top researchers in study

More than 90 Kansas State University faculty members were listed as being in the top 2% of researchers in the world, according to version 3 of a 2020 study done by Stanford University. View the study.
The study determined the researchers included by most research citings for scientists around the world. The exhaustive list includes more than 190,000 persons.
Many disciplines are represented by K-State faculty on the list, including biology, physics, entomology, chemistry, food science, agronomy and agriculture, geology, marketing, microbiology, family studies, engineering, veterinary science and materials.
Version 3 is based on the Aug. 1, 2021, snapshot from Scopus and is updated to citation year 2020.
